What to Expect From Quote to Finished Floor

Step 1: Get Your Quote

Send us a few photos, measurements, and your postcode. We’ll reply within 2-4 hours (Monday-Friday) with a detailed, fixed-price quote. No hidden costs.

Step 2: Prep (Optional)

Ideally, the room is empty and any old carpet/gripper rods are removed. But we’re flexible—if you can’t move heavy furniture, we’ll work around it (there may be a small surcharge for extra time).

Step 3: We Arrive and Seal Off the Room

We’ll protect the rest of your home and set up our dust extraction system.

Step 4: Sanding (The Magic Happens)

We use a 10-step sanding process with different abrasives to get your floor perfectly smooth. This is where 20+ years of experience makes all the difference.

Step 5: Sealing and Finishing

We apply your chosen finish (matt, satin, or gloss). Each coat dries in 45 minutes to an hour. The final coat takes 4 hours, and it’s fully cured in 24 hours

How long does it take?

A standard room (14-20m²) takes one day. Larger spaces or multiple rooms may take 2-3 days.

Will there be dust everywhere?

No. Our machines are 98% dust-free, and we use air purifiers. You won't have dust settling on everything

Do I need to leave my home?

No. We can seal off the room we're working on. For hallways, we'll set up a fan so you can still access other areas.

How long before I can walk on the floor?

You can walk on it in socks within 2 hours. Move furniture back in after 12 hours. Fully cured in 24 hours.

What if my floor is really damaged?

Nine times out of ten, customers think their floor is beyond repair. It's not. If I genuinely didn't think I could restore it, I'd tell you—but that's rare.

Do you move furniture?

We don't move electrical items (liability reasons) or very heavy furniture (health and safety). But we're flexible—if you can't move everything, we'll work around it.

What's the cost?
